QlikView 12 Is Here

Mid December Qlik announced the availability of QlikView 12, the latest version of its mature, QlikView product that's used by over 37,000 people around the globe.  QlikView 12 is now available on 64 bit for both Server & Desktop versions.  Here are a few key highlights of the new product:

  •  More Powerful Analytics Engine - QlikView 12 runs on the powerful QIX (Qlik Data Indexing) engine that also powers Qlik Sense to easily share data models & improve performance
  • Enhanced Mobile & Device Independence - all functions available on the QlikView web client are accessible on touch devices without limitations including exploration, collaboration & creation capabilities
  • Improved Clustering - QlikView 12 offers improved scalability supporting more nodes in a QlikView Server Cluster, which improves performance when supporting high numbers of users in multi-node environments
  • Native Connection to Web Services - A new RESTful API connector improves connectivity with social media sites like Twitter, Facebook & Linkedin, as well as CMS systems and other online services
