Host Analytics A Leader In Both Gartner's 2017 CPM Magic Quadrants

2017 Gartner Corporate Performance Management Magic Quadrant Reports

The corporate performance management (CPM) market has long been dominated by legacy, on-premises solution providers, such as Oracle, SAP, and IBM.  However, in recent years, the market has been shifting to cloud/SaaS as the preferred deployment model for CPM solutions. Thousands of companies have reaped the benefits of cloud-based CPM solutions – faster time to value, lower cost of ownership, autonomy from IT, and rapid innovation.

Recognising this shift in the market, Gartner, focused its 2017 Magic Quadrant Research for Financial CPM (FCPM) and Strategic CPM (SCPM) to recognise cloud solutions as Leaders.  For those of us still getting up to speed with the terminology SCPM & FCPM cover:

Financial Corporate Performance Management (FCPM) Solutions -  this includes Financial Consolidation, Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Reconciliations/Close Management, Intercompany Transactions and Disclosure Management.

Strategic Corporate Performance Management (SCPM) Solutions - this includes Corporate Planning, Modelling, Integrated Financial Planning, Strategy Management and Profitability Management.

The result of this year's Magic Quadrants however, is a shake-up in terms of market leadership, where the legacy on-premises vendors no longer dominate.  The next generation of CPM solution providers has emerged. 

Host Analytics Recognised as a Leader in Both Cloud Financial CPM and Strategic CPM

We're so excited to report that Host Analytics was recognised as a Leader in BOTH the Gartner Cloud FCPM and SCPM Magic Quadrant reports.  Moving from last year as the only cloud CPM vendor recognised in both Magic Quadrants we're now one of only two vendors who were recgonised as Leaders across both the Strategic and Financial Cloud CPM Magic Quadrants, outperforming both on-premise and other cloud alternatives.  For finance teams, that means Host Analytics is well geared to support organisations at a superior level that have needs in both Financial CPM (financial consolidation, close management, financial reporting) and/or Strategic CPM (budgeting, forecasting, planning, financial modelling), enhancing scalability of the software solution across the organisation.
